Primary responsibilty will be to setup,manage and monitor unix server farm on solaris and linux platforms and Design, develop and/or modify various scripts (bash/Perl etc.) as needed for efficient operations, automation and monitoring of server and network environments.
Ideal candidate will have 7-10 years in system administration and Should be B.Tech / M.Tech / Diploma (CSE/ECE/EEE) from premier institutions.
Candidate should have hands-on experience with the following technologies Major network services and protocols (DNS, DHCP, SSH, NTP, NFS, HTTP, etc.), Major network applications (Apache, Samba, Wiki, etc.)- TCP/IP networking tools (traceroute, tcpdump etc.),Major version control software (CVS/RCS/SVN) and Experience with Systems security and monitoringShould be comfortable with Solaris 10 utilities such as smf, zpool, zfs and zones.Should have Knowledge of the Operating Systems: Redhat Enterprise Linux 3/4 WS/ES/AS, Solaris 8, 9, 10.
